Bad Banksy? Or Bad New York?

So I was reading my usual daily mail this morning and came across an article on Banksy which is one of many in recent times as he's been doing residency in New York but the New York people seem to have gotten a bit involved with Banksy and his work has been graffiti-ied over by fellow graffiti artists. In one a real dog was peeing on the graffiti sprayed dog peeing on a fire hydrant quite ironic and hilarious literally taking it to the next level - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2446640/Me-shadow-Dog-takes-pee-Banksys-new-NYC-murals.html - Then the graffiti-ied 'Graffiti is a crime' being white washed then sprayed over with something that looks like 'sweaty palms made me lose the love of real life  :(' or 'This is my New York Accent to which a barbed wire tag is now over the top but i love how he's sort of done the same to them by spraying The Musical to lots of saying Tags.... 'PLAYGROUND MOB the musical' 'OCCUPY! the musical' and 'Dirty Underwear the musical' Amazing! taking quite a dig at broadway there! So what is Graffiti?
 I think if you see the world with open eyes it does become public art... so what do you think? are these now like duo peices by banksy and unknown?
 I think i just like Bansky as he's playing outside the formal element of art practise and theres that joy to find out where his next will pop up and his ironic, sarcastic, and real look at the world art just makes you think about whats happening! you cant not walk past without challenging the message! I think as well just shows that these things do get ruined and things move on in place of something already there no stopping or slowing down...THINGS CHANGE! let go of your inhibitions i say and go for it.
